Tina L. Payne

Assistant Director

Tina Payne, who has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Management from Cheyney University (PA) and more than twenty years of service at Georgia Tech, is an Assistant Director in the Georgia Tech undergraduate Cooperative Education Program.

Tina Payne

Ms. Payne is an advisor to undergraduate students majoring in Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Computational Media; Electrical Engineering; and Mathematics.

She strongly believes that the cooperative educational experience provides students with much-needed hands-on experience in career fields related to their chosen majors. She feels that a student working in his or her field of study will be exposed to technology which is taught by experienced engineers who fully understand both the mission of a cooperative educational program, and the partnership between the university and industry environments. By gaining such career experience, the student will be highly competitive in the business world upon graduation.

Ms. Payne encourages Georgia Tech students to enter the Cooperative Educational Program in the early part of their academic careers.
