Rob Rogers joined the Georgia Tech Division of Professional Practice in 2003, before that he worked with Cooperative Education Program at Drexel University – the largest mandatory cooperative education program in the United States – where he was advisor to engineering students who worked at companies throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States. |

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University. He is an active participant and presenter at SERCEC as well as CIEC, CEED and other professional organizations. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, running and traveling. Rob believes that co-oping is an excellent way for a student to apply their classroom theory and studies in a real-world career environment. He also feels that the primary keys to success for any co-op student are to utilize all of the resources that are provided by their school, to be persistent, to be proactive and to work closely with their co-op advisor. Undergraduate co-op students majoring in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Economics, History, Technology & Society, Industrial Engineering, International Affairs & Modern Languages, Management, Materials Science & Engineering, Physics, Polymer, Textile & Fiber Engineering, and Science, Technology & Culture are assigned to Mr. Rogers.
