DOES PARTICIPATION IN THE CO-OP PROGRAM AFFECT STUDENTS’ FINANCIAL AID?
Yes, to some extent, depending on the type of financial assistance the student is receiving. Merit-based scholarships, including HOPE Scholarships for Georgia residents, are NOT affected. All earned income must be reported to the Office of Student Financial Planning and Services, as well as to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
