Did you know? Students who participate in Georgia Tech co-op programs and internships graduate at a higher rate than those who do not co-op, and also have higher GPAs.

Application Process

Congratulations on your decision to apply for the co-op program! For best results, we encourage students to join early in the semester. Before applying, please read the information below.

Eligibility:

Entering freshmen, dual degree, second undergraduate, and RETP students are eligible to apply without restriction during their first semester at Georgia Tech.

In-school applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Possess a 2.00 or above GPA

- Be in good academic standing

- Have at least three school semesters remaining after the first work term.

Seniors must obtain a letter from their major school indicating the number of school terms to be completed before graduation. This letter should be e-mailed to the appropriate co-op advisor.

Students who are too close to graduation to complete co-op requirements are encouraged to join the Undergraduate Professional Internship (UPI) Program.

Applicants are required to attend a co-op orientation.  Check here to view our calendar.
